Logline
Lupo Dominici, forty-four, company manager, one wife, one mistress, has never had a fight in his life. Then two killers try to murder him for no reason he can understand. Officially he is dead, and he decides not to come back.
The story
A grey, polite, harmless man. He has spent his life avoiding conflict, until conflict finds him. An ambush, a burning car, a body lost at sea: as far as the world knows, Lupo Dominici is gone.
Morgana is cold and relentless; Fuan is a trained paramilitary. Their job is to erase the witness, without a trace and without remorse. But the man they are hunting no longer exists. In his place is someone who has just rediscovered the instincts he kept buried.
Notes
It follows the structure of the French polar: a noir with a social background, set between Rome and the Tuscan archipelago. The novel is published in Italian and English; the cover is by Igort.
